The Scandinavian-Iran Chamber of Commerce opened with the participation of the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Iran and Sweden and a group of private sector activists in these countries.
The purpose of the establishment of the Scandinavian-Iran Room was to provide the necessary grounds for the active participation of the private sector of Iran in the Scandinavian countries, according to Ilna’s Reza Khalili Dilami, chairman of the Scandinavian Chamber of Commerce, Iran at the opening ceremony.
He added: SIC findings in autumn 2004 were based on the lack of trade and trade between Scandinavia and Iran, according to which the total imports from the Scandinavian areas are not comparable with the potential of the existing ones in Iran and these countries.
Khalili said the Scandinavian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce intends to promote general trade and trade relations between the two countries and help companies to overcome language barriers and cultural barriers.
He emphasized that this assistance will be supported and prepared in areas such as sorting out, cultivating cultural understanding for local marketing and networking among other things.
